Local issues in Argyll and Bute
We're collecting local issues in Argyll and Bute. Some of these have been turned into questions to put to the candidates standing at the 2010 general election in the form of a questionnaire.
Issues are no longer being turned into questions, but we still want them! A good local issue will be about a problem of local relevance, possibly suggesting how something should have been/be done.
- there is poor availability of mains water supply to premises relatively close to Campbeltown town centre.
- People do not vote now, this is not apathy, why can there not be a box on voting paper to tick to show none of the canadidates are suitable.
- the ferry service from Campbeltown to Ireland should be reinstated.
- the roads are in a terrible condition.
- broadband coverage is poor and the offer of satellite broadband service doesn't cut it.
