Local issues in Ashford
We're collecting local issues in Ashford. Some of these have been turned into questions to put to the candidates standing at the 2010 general election in the form of a questionnaire.
Issues are no longer being turned into questions, but we still want them! A good local issue will be about a problem of local relevance, possibly suggesting how something should have been/be done.
- More Eurostar trains should stop at Ashford.
- a group for young people to become involved in politics is required. for the youth not yet eligible for voting yet, but to be able to get involved and put forward ideas.
- A garage built with a new home should have a garage of the appropriate size to permit the driver to get out of it.
- The New Library complex does not meet users need - registrar's, adult ed - nearest car park going to be built on too.
