Local issues in Banbury
We're collecting local issues in Banbury. Some of these have been turned into questions to put to the candidates standing at the 2010 general election in the form of a questionnaire.
Issues are no longer being turned into questions, but we still want them! A good local issue will be about a problem of local relevance, possibly suggesting how something should have been/be done.
- Ardley Incinerator is not something that Oxfordshire needs (source)
- UK population growth is environmentally unsustainable and if it is environmentally unsustainable it is also economically unsustainable. Mainstream Parties have no sensible poicies on this. (source)
- Commercial overfishing represents the greatest threat to life in our oceans. Stock after stock are being fished down to unsustainable population levels and most fish species are heading for a crisis. (source)
- Some hunters have too easily flouted and ignored the Hunting Act but surely that is reason to close the loopholes and better enforce the Act, not to repeal it and thereby reward the criminals? (source)

Local questions for candidate questionnaire
These are the questions that have been made out of the local issues Demoracy Club volunteers have posted. They'll make up the 'local' section of a questionnaire that TheyWorkForYou is developing in conjunction with Demoracy Club. Below the question is the local issue it's derived from.
