Lewisham, Deptford discussion

Ade For me personally, one the big issues in Lewisham is about young people - we have a high percentage of young people (demographically) and the recesssion will hit them hard - managing the costs of providing support to them and finding a way of getting employment is key. Also transport links are important - issues about overcrowding especially at Brockley station and the cuts to service by the rail network are also important Mar 24
Ade There are some issues about traffic and parking in the Brockley area - can be seen on Brockley Central Mar 24
Simon That, not thjat, obviously... Mar 24

Simon Tim, don't get me wrong, I'm not giving up - but I'm new to this, and still feeling my way... Mar 24
Tim Green Simon - the only way the discussion will be more wide ranging is if you get involved, don't just give up. Most of the issue that Raymond posted are pretty shoddy and won't be used! Get some quality ones in! Mar 24
Simon So - 33 volunteers. Excellent. But 10 posts in the last 30 minutes - all from the same person. I think I'll wait until the discussion becomes a little more wide-ranging before I get involved. Mar 24
Raymond Lets vote for a different party - not the big 2 Mar 24

Local issues in Lewisham, Deptford

We're collecting local issues in Lewisham, Deptford. Some of these have been turned into questions to put to the candidates standing at the 2010 general election in the form of a questionnaire.

Issues are no longer being turned into questions, but we still want them! A good local issue will be about a problem of local relevance, possibly suggesting how something should have been/be done.

Local questions for candidate questionnaire

These are the questions that have been made out of the local issues Demoracy Club volunteers have posted. They'll make up the 'local' section of a questionnaire that TheyWorkForYou is developing in conjunction with Demoracy Club. Below the question is the local issue it's derived from.
