Local issues in Lewisham, Deptford
We're collecting local issues in Lewisham, Deptford. Some of these have been turned into questions to put to the candidates standing at the 2010 general election in the form of a questionnaire.
Issues are no longer being turned into questions, but we still want them! A good local issue will be about a problem of local relevance, possibly suggesting how something should have been/be done.
- only certain items are able to be recycled
- few community programmes, lts of enclaves but no social intergration in the area
- Graffiti in the area needs attention
- local youths hanging on streets , drug use, alcohol abuse and generally being a nuisance!
- the threat of the Jobcentre closing is a major issue in a constituency with a high level of unemployment. (source)

- if a loaf of bread rises by 50p why does weekly benefit rise by less?
- God really exists... please help these voter to realise there is no God.
