Local issues in Suffolk Coastal
We're collecting local issues in Suffolk Coastal. Some of these have been turned into questions to put to the candidates standing at the 2010 general election in the form of a questionnaire.
Issues are no longer being turned into questions, but we still want them! A good local issue will be about a problem of local relevance, possibly suggesting how something should have been/be done.
- The community must be genuinely engaged with on any further developments at Sizewell (source)
- public transport should be improved and promoted locally
- there should be better and faster broadband access - especially in rural areas (source)
- sea eagles should be re-introduced to Suffolk (source)
- there should be full emergency heart attack care in Ipswich. (source)
- e.g. the bypass should be built around the town
- there needs to be more training so the local workforce meets employers needs (source)
- there needs to be more affordable housing to meet local needs (source)
- sea eagles should not be released into the wild in this area (source)
- educational attainment needs to be improved (source)
- ensure that demographic changes in the East Suffolk area, in particular the aging population, are tackled through the coordinated provision of care services and housing (source)
